Terms of Service
Last updated: June 12, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Northera Design ("Northera Design," "we," "us," or "our") website and your communications and dealings with us. By using our website, requesting a quote, or contacting us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
1. Our Services
Northera Design provides residential and small-business services in Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond and the surrounding areas. Information on our website is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute professional, contractual, or emergency advice.
2. Quotes, Estimates, and Work
Any prices, quotes, or estimates we provide are based on the information available at the time and are not binding until confirmed in writing and accepted by both parties. Actual scope and cost may change after an on-site assessment or once work begins and underlying conditions are known. Scheduling is subject to availability, and we will make reasonable efforts to meet requested times.
3. Communications Consent
By providing your phone number or email address, you consent to receive calls, text messages, and emails from us about your request, appointment, and service, including messages sent using automated technology. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out of text messages or HELP for assistance. Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Please see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
4. Your Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and complete information, to use our website and services only for lawful purposes, and to provide safe access to the work area when we perform services at your property. You may not attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to our website or systems.
5. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, charges for completed work are due upon completion. Specific pricing, deposits, warranty terms, and payment arrangements for any job will be set out in the applicable quote or service agreement for that job.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and layout, is owned by or licensed to Northera Design and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Any warranty covering plumbing or heating work we perform is governed solely by the separate written agreement or invoice for that work, not by these Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northera Design and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the website or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Northera Design and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the website or your breach of these Terms.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites and use third-party tools and services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the courts located in British Columbia will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our website or services.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
